Another one of the three tracks that landed me this job, I have no recollection of the inspiration, the meaning, or even the tuning my guitar was in - while looking through old notebooks, though, I did manage to find an accompanying poem (again, NO idea when, where, why, what, who or how):

legs wrapped around a garden hose
she waits
wonders and waters
a longing lawn
four feet long, eight feet wide
forty gallons more
"someone's got to do it"
"God won't provide"
she needs to be wanted
he wants to be needed
she doesn't need him
he doesn't want her
they part like parched lips
sidewalks sizzle
like bacon crisp
